The Edney Innovation Center recently underwent a series of refreshing improvements, designed to enrich the tenant experience and further establish The Edney as a premier hub for collaboration and innovation in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. 
 
Among the updates, the lobby and entryway received a stylish makeover, creating a modern, welcoming first impression for visitors and tenants alike. Key enhancements on the main floor include new access to lobby restrooms, an expanded vending area, and bike storage for cycling commuters.  
 
Enhanced security measures bring additional peace of mind, with updated cameras, a new security desk and an innovative directory and access system that lets tenants manage entry from an app on their phone. This upgrade adds convenience and control, allowing tenants to let themselves and guests in with just a tap. Meanwhile, modernized elevators promise improved accessibility and aesthetics. 
 
On the fourth floor, renovations extend to the elevator lobby, common areas, conference room, and break room, fostering a more collaborative and comfortable environment. The 11th floor now features a beautifully finished common area with soft seating, tabletops, and new restrooms—ideal for informal gatherings or a relaxing workday break. 

Perhaps the most talked about addition is the rooftop patio, which now offers tenants a scenic space for informal meetings, networking, or simply enjoying the stunning views of downtown Chattanooga.
